My daughter, mohter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fattoria di Corsignano. The property was gorgeous, with breathtaking views of the Tuscan hillsides and farms. But the people were truly amazing! Before we arrived, Christina (in reservations) helped us with arrangements, answered numerous questions, and got us all the information we needed to get there and be comfortable during our stay. Mario and Elena (the proprietors), as well as their daughter, made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. My daughter had special dietary needs and Elena, a fabulous cook, went well out of her way to make sure she had delicious meals to eat. Her daughter, though older and speaking little English, looked for my daughter daily to play. This made her feel very comfortable and happy. The wedding took place in a small, quaint church in the hills above the property. The patina of the church walls made a beautiful backdrop for pictures after the ceremony. Back at Fattoria di Corsignano, appetizers were served with the sun setting behind the tree line. Gorgeous!!! The setting for dinner was no less spectacular. The traditional Italian wedding cake, which most guests had never seen before, was a delicious surprise. The whole experience was amazing. I would love to go back there again someday.
