On Monday, May 18, 2026, we will be moving Lezec to a new server. The website should remain online and accessible throughout the migration - you can continue to read articles, discussions, guides, photos, and other users’ journals. What to Expect: - Starting at 7:30 a.m. - we’ll begin the database migration. You’ll see a yellow notification banner at the top of the page, and you won’t be able to save anything: logins, registrations, comments, new routes, or diary entries won’t go through at that time. - At 9:00 a.m. - we’ll switch the DNS to the new server. - Usually within a few dozen minutes, up to a few hours at most — the DNS change will propagate to your provider, and you’ll see the new server. If the site still shows a maintenance message after lunch, try again in a little while - the DNS change will reach you soon. Your data remains intact - routes, diary, articles, discussions, photos, and accounts are transferred 1:1. If you encounter any issues after the switch, please let us know under the article or via email at standa@lezec.cz or stanislav.holec@gmail.com. Thank you for sticking with us - the new server should be faster and more stable, and should enable a responsive layout on mobile devices, functional maps, and further development.
