Czech Republic Academic Bouldering Championship – a competition for all college studentsThe date is June 24, 2026 The venue is the Brno University of Technology Bouldering Center. Registration is available via the ČHS website until May 29, 2026 – here: https://www.ceskeakademickehry.cz/registrace Schedule: Women’s check-in: 8:30 – 9:10 Men’s check-in: 8:30 – 12:30 Women’s Qualifying: 9:30 – 11:00 Men’s Qualifying: 12:00 – 13:30 (Group 1) Men’s Qualifiers: 1:40 PM – 3:10 PM (Group 2 – if necessary) Women’s Finals Start: 4:00 PM (isolation area closes at 3:15 PM) Men’s Finals Start: 6:00 PM (isolation area closes at 5:15 PM) In the event of a larger or smaller number of competitors, the schedule will be adjusted on-site. Awards Ceremony: Immediately following the conclusion of the finals at the competition venue. The winner will be awarded the title of Czech Academic Bouldering Champion for 2026. Competition format: MEN and WOMEN categories The competition consists of two rounds – qualifiers and finals The qualifiers are climbed Flash (8 boulders), and the finals are climbed On Sight (4 boulders). Eight women and eight men will advance to the finals based on the results of the qualifiers. Eligibility Requirements: Students from accredited universities in the Czech Republic, regardless of their program of study, and students from higher vocational schools are eligible to participate. Students must provide proof of enrollment (student ID, ISIC card, or a copy of their diploma). Athletes must be students at the university or higher vocational school that is registering them, or must have completed their studies at that institution in the calendar year 2026. Students who have interrupted their studies or have been admitted to a program but have not yet received their admission documents are not eligible to participate. International students studying at Czech universities or who have been accepted for study abroad programs (e.g., through the Erasmus program) may participate. If a student is enrolled at two universities simultaneously, they may compete for only one.
