World Cup in Lead Climbing, Prague

Adam Ondra, Tereza Širůčková, and Michaela Smetanová go to Semi

SP v lezení na obtížnost Praha kvalifikaceAdam Ondra advanced to the semifinals of the World Cup lead climbing competition in Prague today after finishing 13th in the qualifiers. In addition to him, Czech women Tereza Širůčková advanced to the semifinals from 6th place, and Michaela Smetanová from 9th place. The rest of the Czech national team members were eliminated in the qualifying round.

Jan Štípek finished 33rd, Martin Stráník 40th, Arina Jurčenko 55th, Ema Galeová 59th, Mariana Janošová 63rd, Šimon Potůček 65th, and Filip Zlámal 75th.

The semifinals will take place on Sunday morning starting at 10:30 a.m., followed by the finals in the evening: women at 6:00 p.m. and men at 7:00 p.m.
