Adam Ondra has released a video documenting his successful first ascent of a route called “Big Twin,” rated 9a+, in the Italian Dolomites. The route is located in the Laboratorio sector, which Adam describes as one of the most significant spots for modern high-difficulty sport climbing in the region.

The route was originally bolted by local climber Maurizio "Icio" Dall'Omo, who discovered the sector about 45 years ago and was instrumental in establishing difficult climbing there. According to Adam, it’s a logical and aesthetically pleasing line running through a prominent crack, which he had been putting off climbing for several years. The route itself is about 45 meters long.
