Lucie Mrázová, holder of 15 Czech records in the Olympic sport of speed climbing, competed in her first World Cup event on July 3-5 in Kraków, Poland.

It was the most competitive event in recent years, featuring reigning world champions and Olympians. Lucie is now in the junior division, but she still decided to compete against the women. She finished in 49th place, slightly disappointed that none of her attempts went as planned.

Still, she’s happy with this result and the experience. If she had come close to her personal best, she would have moved up several spots and qualified for the finals.

With this performance, she is historically the best woman and junior in this discipline representing the Czech Republic.
