The Czech UIAA World Cup competition announced on November 12th to 14th 2004 to Moravian city Brno (East part of Czech Republic) could be held without difficulties,

because ICC UIAA postponed the competition in Slovenian town Kranj, which was originally in a collision with the Czech event.
The reason is that the International Council for Competition Climbing UIAA (ICC UIAA) accepted the demand of the Czech Mountaineering Union. The Czech World Cup is connected with Sport Life fair held parallel in Brno who sponsors the competition.
The competition in Kranj would be now held on November 19th – 20th 2004
