The fourth round of the Czech Cup in bouldering will take place 27.8.05 in conjunction with the International Festival of Mountain-Climbing Films in Teplice nad Metuji (North-East Bohemia, Czech Republic). This competition will be the last round of the Czech Cup for the year 2005 and will determine the overall winners for the year. The competition is open for foreign climbers. Under the auspices of CHS, the competition is organized by Boulder Bar. Everything will take place on a tower from Pilka Kameny. The routes are clean and offer great new possibilities for bouldering. There will be a minimum of five and a maximum of six boulders. The difficulty of the boulders will be around the middle level of the Boulder Rallye competition. Thus, everyone has a chance to compete -- not just the pros! Competition presentation and entry fees Registration for the fourth round of the competition will be via internet. Naturally, it is not compulsory, but it is advantageous for both competitors and organizers. With timely registration, competitors receive a reduction in the entry fees and the organizers will have a clear idea of the field of competitors, which is very important for the competition itself. As long as the organizers know in advance the exact number of entrants, they can plan nearly to the minute the way the competition will run. That's also very important for competitors. You can register for the competition at www.boulder.cz/zavody.html Before 17.8.2005 - Entry fee 100 Kc Before 25.8.2005 - Entry fee 150 Kc At the venue 27.8.2005 - Entry fee 200 Kc Schedule: Women Beginning presentation 7:30 End of presentation 8:00 Closing of isolation 8:15 End of qualification 8:30 Men Beginning presentation 7:30 End of presentation: 30 minutes before the final women's qualification (the org. will announce it on time) Closing of isolation: right after the last female competitor (the org. will announce it on time) End of qualification: an hour after the end of the female qualification Finale: Planned start of the women's final: 4:00 p.m. Planned start of the men's final: 6:00 p.m. So, climbers!
