The Expedition Festival, witch is probably the only specific expedition meeting in Europe, will take place in French Grenoble and La Grave - La Meije (a very famous place for mountaineering) from 17th to the 20th January 2008.

The goal of this event is to create place for all the Alpinists passionate by expeditions all over the world, 3 days where they can share informations, conviviality, watch films and pictures about expeditions, participate on various debates and of course ski, and ice climbing. "After 6 years, the event has started to be famous, and we received a lot of famous Alpinists, like Kurt Diemberger, Robert Paragot, Guido Magnone, Doug Scott... and less famous ones too, cause the spirit is to let the doors opened to all," the organizers wrote us in invitation for our readers.
