Soukromá AmerikaZatopený a nepoužívaný lom u obce Mořina v Českém krasu je již delší dobu postupně znepřístupňován. Místo spíše známe kotlíkářům, výletníkům a potápěčům ale zároveň obsahující několik ojištěných horolezeckých cest.
Nicméně snaha vypudit všechny nezvané hosty je zřejmá - počínaje ohrazením, odstřelem přístupových cest a konče hlídáním ochrankou. Faktem je, že se tento prostor využívá pro výcvik záchranářů a potápěčů, pro které je otevírán přístup vraty.
Nabízí se mi několik vysvětlení:
- Majitel lomu Lom Mořina nemá zájem o masové nekomerční využívání - odpadky, ohně atd.
- Prostor leží v chráněné oblasti.
- Majitel nechce nést zodpovědnost za úrazy a úmrtí - kterých dle mých údajů nebylo málo.
Uvítal bych připomínky zasvěcených (i nezasvěcených) osob ohledně lezení i samotného využívání této lokality.
Tak aby bylo tedy jasno. Lom Amerika je ze statu báňské zákona označen jako lom "nevytěžený". Takto jsou označeny prakticky všechny lomy, které nemají pouze určitou omezenou maximální výšku patra a sklon. Třeba Alkazar je O.K., ale Tomáškárna je v pr..., neboť je převislá. Naštěstí o lezení tam baňaři neví.
Co ovšem znamená, je-li lom označený jako "nevytěžený". Jednoduše to, že do něj nesmí osoba neproškolená na báňské přepisy, což jsme prakticky všichni. Zákon dále ukládá majiteli lomu, což je v tomto případě firma Lomy Mořina, zajistit objekt tak, aby do něj osoba neproškolená neměla přístup. Kdysy se v případě Ameriky uvažovalo i o nepřetržité hlídací službě, ale z finančních důvodů se do toho upustilo. Lomy Mořina v minulosti platily děsivé pokuty za to, že objekt nebyl dostatečně zajištěn proti vniknutí a je tedy logické, že se snaží situaci ze svého pohledu vyřešit. Veškeré aktivity v oblasti jsou v podstatě nezákonné, tedy i lezení a osazování nýtů, ačkoli vím, kdo to dělá.
Jedinou možností, jak si sjednat vyjímku ke vstupu, je absolvovat školení na Báňské předpisy, což mám za sebou a opravňuje mě to ke vstupu do relativně lezecky perspektivního Mexika (Gotická štola).
Ochrana přírody v případě Ameriky nehraje roli, jiní je to u lomů v NPR Kaplštejn (malá Amerika apod.), kde se střetáváme jak baňaři, tak s ochranáři.

| A není to podle Báňského zákona tak, že do dolů a lomů nesmí nikdo jiný, než ten co tam má co dělat pracovně? Myslím, že s tímhle mají potíže i jeskyňáři při průzkumech stěn po odstřelech. |

Lukovi - průvodce neexistuje, musel by ses informovat u autorů, jejichž jména nezveřejním, nejsem si totiž jist, že by o to stáli vzhledem k tomu, že činnost je tu fakt zakázána. Pokud se někdy potkáme, rád ti na ně dám kontakt
Ondrovi - já jsem si školení dělal přes bezpečnostního technika pana Karla Fouse z Lomů Mořina, tel. 0311-672343, 672221, tehdy mi šlo o povelení lezení v Mexiku. Prosím, neidvolávejte se na mě, asi by neměli přílišnou radost z toho, že roztrubuju, jak je snadné se do dané lokality dostat. Taky je docela dobře možné, že už to dneska tak jednoduché nebude, já jsem to asi měl jednodušší vzhledem k funkci správce skal v NPR Karlštejn a vzhledem k předsednictví v HO Beroun.
