What does mean questionable knobs? not solid?

Yeah, knobs are a specialty of tuolumne, I haven't seen anything like it elsewhere. the face is a sea of them, and finding the right ones can be tricky. sometimes the knobs are loose, or split, and break under preasure, but otherwise the rock is generally perfect.
