Our Hungarian friend Gabor Táborosi wrote us: "It was the greatest ever international climbing contest in Hungary, thank to our excellent guests from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Latvia. I have to apologize to all of them for the inconvenience, caused by the inexperience of the organizers, the technical failures of the new equipments, or the stupid speed route, which led to the terrible delay. I hope the children enjoyed it anyhow."
Czech couch Houmy (Vlada Slouka) was very satisfied with the competition. He said that it was the success like Czech athletes in the athletic meeting in Budapest the same weekend.
The Czech rope manufacturer Lanex sponsored the competition.
There was also an adult competition this weekend in Budapest but without Czech participation.
