The next edition of the Peakfest mountain and travel festival will take place from June 19 to 21 in the village of Jizerka in the Jizera Mountains. Visitors can look forward to lectures, films, workshops, and meetings with figures associated with the mountains and adventure travel.
The program includes, for example, talks by mountaineer and festival organizer Honza "Tráva" Trávníček and Miri Jirková on Nepal, travel photography presentations by Pavel Svoboda, a demonstration by the mountain rescue service, and a screening of the documentary film *FLOW* about women seeking freedom on the rocks, on the water, and in the mountains. The festival will also feature discussions on ski mountaineering, Bhutan, photography while traveling, and mountain rescue techniques.
