Czech para-climbers: 2 silver medals at Austrian Championships
Czech athletes won two silver medals at the Austrian Open Para-Climbing Championships. Facing strong international competition, Honza Považan took 2nd place in the AU2 category (upper limb impairment) and Franta Rys finished 2nd in the RP3 category (mild impairment of strength or mobility). Michaela Dušková rounded out the Czech results with a 6th-place finish in the RP2 category (moderate neurological or physical impairment). The Czech Mountaineering Association reported the results on Facebook.
For the Czech para-climbing team, this was another important race ahead of the season’s highlight. On June 15, the Czech athletes will compete in the World Cup in Innsbruck, where they will aim to build on their results from Austria.
