Dresden, a town with rich climbing history, took the opportunity to organize such an important event as the World Climbing Cup.
The scenic town of Dresden celebrates its 800th anniversary and wants to be regarded as a sport European town.
The events (difficulty and speed) will take place on the 19th and 20th of May 2006 (at Königsufer )
There will be many Czech climbers attending the event.

The climbing wall s going to be up to 20m tall
This extremely overhanging wall was designed and prepared by an Austrian Company and will be standing under the open sky.
There will be 150 competitors (75 in each discipline)
