I am thinking of visiting Petrohrad for some bouldering/climbing, in early May. Sounds like a pretty cool area. But I gather the village must be pretty small, since it is not in Lonely Planet...
Namaste means local greetings from Nepal. We have high peaks and low peak expedition in Nepal. If you are interested, please join with us. we have fixed departure trip for 2006 and 2007.
I was just recently in Praha for a short bit on vacation during the end of March. I really loved CR and can't wait to come back, I was just wondering what the average temperatures were in the summer? Do people still boulder in the summer there? Here every

Hi everyone, I'm from Russia; going to be on business in Prague 3-6 May 2006, now considering staying in the CR until 14 May to do some bouldering/sport climbing, preferably outdoors. I'm planning to rent a car and stay overnight in local B&B ho
Does anyone know of any good climbing near Brno that you can get to with out the use of a car. Stránská skála looks good, but I can't seem to find its exact location and I don't know how easy it is to get to. Can anyone help. My e-mail i

In Jesenice (closest town) is a hotel but they charge you for 50 Euro each person
and night. Despite that the hotel is nice, I wouldn't suggest to go there due to
costs.

this one is much cheaper has 2 and 4 persons rooms 400/a person breakfast included
maybe due to off season could be even cheaper
I have found also a whole chalet for 450 (for 6 people) a day.
To put it in other words there are plenty of possibilities if you would be more
detailed I can arrange some detailed information.
The climate allows already to stay in tent and there are aslo plenty of choices.
The 5 of us are arriving friday morning. We're planning to stay until tuesday.
We're travelling by car. But there's not enough room to bring a tent with us.
We're looking for a place just to spend the night.
If possible with breakfast, but if it's without it's not a problem. Dinner is not neccesary because we want to try out the pizzeria. And we're going for one evening to eat in praha.
Could you tell me if there's a supermarket nearby ? Or a bakery ?
My wife is Czech and we just bought an apartment in Rakovnik, which is just a short bike ride from Petrohrad. I just found this out looking at this website. Awesome! So I should be there every week. I never got into bouldering, but this is too good not to take advantage of. I just got a kind of...uh, fruity...chalkbag at a comp here in Texas. So look for the old guy with the flower chalk bag. I may have to switch back to my other bag if this proves too embarassing, but hey, free is free.
