I've been climbing for ten years at a reasonable standard, now climbing at about UK grade of HVS/E1 and French grade 6b/6c.
If you would like to meet up for a climb that would be great as I'm determined to keep my climbing standard and amount at the level it's currently at. I'm also excited about discovering lots of new places to climb.
So please get in touch.
My name is Penny, I'm 28 and pretty much obsessed with climbing!!!I also enjoy mountain biking and love ski mountaineering and running.
Hi Penny
I would recommend you to announce when you will be in Czech and settled. We (people and editors round Czechclimbing.com) are quite active outdoors and there is always a room for one keen climber.
Keep it real
Hi Jirka
Thanks for your reply. I arrive in Sheffield next Wednesday (2nd April) and I am keen to climb as soon as possible. Anytime after the 4th April is probably good. Settling in can wait but my climbing cannot!!!
So if I could join you and your group either indoors or outdoors anytime after that it would be fantastic.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Penny
My name is Phil. I am visiting Czech for 10 days 29-6 to 8-7.
I had a friend in Czech who I was supposed to climb with who is now pregnant! The rest of her club are away on a trip.
I'm 31 and best grade so far is 6b+ outdoors in UK. VS 5a on trad. Been climbing about 16 months.
Would ideally like to hook up with someone for a some climbing but have lots of sightseeing to do as well.
My phone will be working in Czech so if you reply I will give you my number. I hear there is a decent wall in Prague so would be good idea to meet and climb indoors first.
Bit of a sob story I know but if I could tag along that would be great.
I'd be really keen to come out climbing. I arrive in Prague mid July and am there for 2 weeks. I have in the past reached about a 6A level outdoors. I'll have not much gear, just my climbing shoes really, but am happy to go in for equipment hire, and all the rest. I'm 28, from Australia and dropping through Czech Republic before studying in Sweden...
hey,
im not sure how old this post is but ill reply anyway.
my name is sean tehan, im an 18yr old Australian who is about to go travelling in europe for a year. im starting off in prague around mid november. ive only been climbing for a year, and my experience is limited to lots of bouldering on a woodie and in gyms (& campus board at home), and several natural sport climbs. what climbs i have done are around grade 21, which i googled to be about 6b+/6c ish. i think this puts us around the same ability? anyway i am hoping to actually start climbing quite seriously once i get to prague, if only in gyms to start off with. send me an email if youd like to climb!
thanks, sean
