Czech climber Adam Ondra sent some very hard climbs in Red River Gorge, USA.
During two weeks in Red River Gorge, Kentucky, Adam went to sector Chocolate Factory to try the two hardest routes in the area Pure Imagination and Golden Ticket, both 9a!
Adam was said he had been aiming on some on-sight of some 9a.
Couple days before he did in flash style the route Southern Smoke Direct. Although the route had been originally graded 9a+ and had no repetition, Adam seemed it is rather easier, so he graded it as "only" 9a.
So Adam sent without problem the Pure Imagination, then he did Golden Ticket, with little bit more effort. He did both rotes OS in one day and he suggested decreasing of the grade: Pure "easy" 8c+ and Golden Ticket "hard" 8c+.
The locals are said they think about some correction of their grading but at least they insist that the Golden Ticket is 9a and Adam is stronger then he things. ;)
