A 57-year-old climber was seriously injured on Sunday afternoon in the Adršpach Rocks in the Náchod region after falling from a height of about 15 meters. Due to the difficult-to-access terrain, rescuers had to use a helicopter with a rope suspension system during the operation. The man was transported to the University Hospital in Hradec Králové. The accident occurred around 3:00 p.m. in the Adršpach Rocks area. According to a spokesperson for the regional rescue service, the man suffered injuries to his back and pelvis in the fall.

The rescue operation was complicated by the inaccessible rocky terrain, which prevented the helicopter from landing directly. Rescuers therefore used a special rope suspension system. The man remained conscious and responsive throughout. The entire operation lasted approximately one hour.
