Adam Ondra finished 5th tonight in the final of the World Cup lead climbing competition in Prague. The winner was Putra Tri Ramadani of Indonesia. Earlier, Annie Sandres of the United States won the women’s event. Second place went to Neo Suzuki of Japan and Chaehyun Seo of South Korea, while third place was shared by Jakob Schubert and Zélia Avezou of France.

Report from the semifinals:

Adam Ondra advanced to the final of the World Cup lead climbing competition in Prague today after finishing 5th in the semifinals. In the women’s competition, our two semifinalists did not advance. Tereza Širůčková finished 9th as the first non-qualifier, while Michaela Smetanová finished 15th. The finals are tonight, with the women climbing at 6:00 p.m. and the men at 7:00 p.m.
