Czech mountaineering union announced the ascents of the year 2005 and except the traditional categories evaluated as the overall the best performance deffinetely the sport resultes of  Tomáš Mrázek,

"who except extraordinary climbs in the rocks (he got the "Ascent of the year 2005 with star", gained again as the first climber in the world the titul of the World Champion in lead climbing; and he added super 2nd place in the World Games in Duisburgu. He showed to the whole climbing world that one can combine competition climbing with rock climbing even in the highest level."
The 12 year old kid Adam Ondra was as well granted in one of the categories.

The ascent confirmed by the other OS of the STONY ROAD 10-/10 in the same area if exceptional. He climbed in OS style also six other routes in 8b in different areas in Europe and also the legendary "Chouca“ in Buoux (France) 8a+. Exceptional is also the age of the world level climber – 12 year.

Cho Oyu (8 201m) was reached solo via NW face by  Martin Minařík 18th April 2005.

Nanga Parbat (8 125m) via Diamir (W) face Kinshofer route  was ascented 28th June 2005 by Radek Jaroš in Alpine style.

IX. TRAD SKITOURING (FREE RIDE)
Vysoké Tatry, Stredohrot JV face, downhilled from the top to the seadle Pod Prostredným, then via narrow to Malé St. walley (declination 53°)
